Kay, Contracting Officer Carrier Liquid Chiller--The Regional Contracting Department Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Carrier Co. of Hawaii, for a ''Carrier'' Liquid Chiller to be used for cooling water to cool motor generators and other electrical and electronics components and crew habitability on board U.S. Submarines during drydock. Chiller shall have 200-ton capacity with its own pump with ''Flotronic'' controls. Runs on 440VAC, 400 AMP capacity. Shall have a 06E type, 8 Compressor. Shall be capable of providing a 10-degree differential between inlet and outlet load. Unit Shall include a mounting sled, low current relay, expansion tank, all-power control interlock wiring, single point power connection, 1 ea supply and 1 ea. return chill water connection, and a demand limit module. Unit shall have the capability of being lifted by a crane. Shall also include on-site service with training. F.O.B. Navy Intermediate Maintenace Facility, Pearl Harbor Hawaii.
