NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP)5-58508/235 for a firm fixed price contract to Hewlett Packard under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) -- Only One Responsible Source. This acquisition will provide for a Network Analyzer and associated equipment in support of the Guidance, Navigation, and Control Branch's Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers. The following Hewlett Packard equipment will be required: One (1) RF vector network analyzer 30 kHz - 3 Ghz (P/N HP-8753D) with an option for extending frequency range to 6 Ghz (P/N Option 006). The network analyzer includes synthesized source, S-parameter test set, color display, serial, parallel & HP-IB interfaces, and a disk drive; One (1) Rackmount kit for instruments without handles (P/N Option 010); One (1) 6 Ghz S-parameter test set that covers 300 khz - 6 Ghz with four (4) RF cables to connect the analyzer (P/N 85047A) ; One (1) Rackmount kit (P/N Option 908); and One (1) 3.5mm calibration kit - 30 khz - 6 Ghz (P/N 85033D).
