The Pharmaceutical Resources Branch of the Developmental Therapeutics Program, Division of Cancer Treatment, Diagnosis, and Centers, National Cancer Institute (NCI) is seeking contractors experienced in the analytical assessment of bulk pharmaceutical substances and clinical drug products to provide analytical services. Analytical information generated under these contracts will be used for preclinical and clinical development of the drug candidates. Data provided in the analytical reports will be supplied to the Food and Drug Administration as part of the Investigational New Drug filings for antitumor and anti-AIDS agents. It is anticipated that three (3) cost-reimbursement, completion type contracts will be awarded for a base period of three (3) years, with two one year options for each contract. The proposed contract project represents a recompetition of the following contracts: Midwest Research Institute (N01-CM-27748 & N01-CM-37813), Research Triangle Institute (N01-CM-27749), and SRI International (N01-CM-17519 & N01-CM-27750). Contractors will be expected to have operational equipment and capabilities.
