The objectives of this work are to develop guidelines for: (1) the systematic field evaluation and representative sampling for laboratory study of distressed areas of concrete pavement; (2) the laboratory evaluation of the concrete pavement samples in order to determine the cause(s) of the distress; and (3) the appropriate treatment of the distress in existing pavement and prevention of the distress in new pavements. -- All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FHWA. To expedite request, please furnish two self-addressed gummed labels for each solicitation requested. The solicitation number should appear on the bottom edge of the labels.
