are to develop guidelines for: (1) the systematic field evaluation and
representative sampling for laboratory study of distressed areas of
concrete pavement; (2) the laboratory evaluation of the concrete
pavement samples in order to determine the cause(s) of the distress;
and (3) the appropriate treatment of the distress in existing pavement
and prevention of the distress in new pavements. -- All responsible
sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FHWA. To
expedite request, please furnish two self-addressed gummed labels for
each solicitation requested. The solicitation number should appear on
the bottom edge of the labels. Availability of the solicitation is
limited and copies will be furnished on a first-come, first-served
