Purpose of this project is the development of a Corridor Management
Plan for the three scenic byways that cross the Big Horn mountains
located in north central Wyoming. They are - Cloud Peak Skyway (US HWY
16); Big Horn Scenic Byway (US HWY 14); Medicine Wheel Passage (US HWY
14A). The contractor shall furnish all materials, supplies, tools,
equipment, personnel, and travel necessary to develop a corridor
management plan. Work includes, but is not limited to, activities such
as conducting meetings with public and local, state, and federal
officials; inventory and assessment of scenic values within the byway
corridors; assessment of various factors relative to highway
construction, operation, & maintenance; inventory and assessment of
recreational and interpretive amenities; and development of a
conceptual action plan (summary of recommendations) for enjoyment,
promotion, and preservation of the scenic byways under consideration.
Project is located on the Bighorn National Forest, Wyoming. Contract
