The contractor shall provide all necessary facilities, tools, equipment, materials and labor to perform periodic inspections and maintenance for an estimated 75 DODX Tankcars, Boxcars, and Flatcars in accordance with the DODX Periodic Maintenance Inspections and the American Association of Railroads. This synopsis is applicable to Region #4 only - KS, MO, AR, OK, TX, and LA. Potential bidders must be located within a 150 mile radius of Houston, TX in order to submit a bid to this solicitation. This solicitation is 100% Small Business Set Aside. A Firm Fixed Price Requirements type contract is contemplated.
