1996 INTERNATIONAL INFANTRY AND SMALL ARMS SYSTEMS DIVISION SYMPOSIUM EXHIBITION AND FIRING DEMONSTRATION AND THE PICATINNY CHAPTER ANNUAL FIREPOWER SCHOLARSHIP BENEFIT June 17-20, 1996, Seasons Resort and Conference Center, McAfee, New Jersey. This symposium will draw decision makers from the user, developer, and industry into a synergistic, forward-looking environment. This symposium will consist of a series of dynamic sessions involving government/industry - US and international presenters as well as interactive seminars addressing the needs of the soldier in Military Operations in Urban Terrain, the traditional and full combat scenario, amphibious operations, police/special operations, and low intensity conflicts. It will examine the progress and plans of the U.S. Military forces and principal allies to enhance the close combat infantry mission in the modernization of maneuver fighting systems. The symposium will facilitate cross fertilization of technical and operational information and will provide a forum for industry to understand the Army's war fighting requirements in a symposium environment.
