RENTAL OF UNIFORMS - Contractor to provide rental, maintenance and laundry services on work related garments (shirts & pants) for approximately 150 employees of VA Palo Alto Health Care System. Contractor to provide 11 sets of uniforms which include dress shirts made of 60% polyester and 40% cotton blend oxford button down, Van Heusen type dress shirts, striped work shirts made of 65% polyester and 35% cotton blend comfort fabric and pants made of 65% polyester and 35% cotton twill lend comfort fabric, double pleated mens/womens uniform pants with brass zippers, bartack at stress points, topstiched belt loops, double insert rear pockets and 2 front quarter top pockets. Contractor to affix VAPAHCS emblem on shirts. Contractor will be responsible for upgrading garments due to normal wear and tear during the duration of the contract. Contractors shall comply with Cal/OSHA California Code of Regulations, Section 5193 Title 8, Blood Borne Pathogen laundry standards for contaminated laundry. Bidders shall submit with their bid, the company's quality control specifications pertaining to the garments and laundry services to be provided under this contract. Delivery will be to three locations; Palo Alto located at 3801 Miranda Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304, Menlo Park located at 795 Willow Road, Menlo PArk, CA 94025, and Livermore located at 4951 Arroyo Road, Livermore, CA 94550.
