The Annapolis Detachment of CD Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Leslie Controls INC., Tampa, FL, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The procurement is to modify a Leslie Controls three-way water regulating valve. The valve will be modified to use an electric actuator which will interface with a newly developed microprocessor control panel. Leslie Controls, INC. holds proprietary rights to data required to successfully complete the task. As the original equipment manufacturer Leslie Controls INC. is best qualified to conduct the performance test and evaluations required in this procurement. Anticipated award date is 05/06/96.
