The US Army Communication-Electronics Command (CECOM ) is planning to issue a Sole Source Modification to Contract No. DAAB07-93-C-K011 to provide for various engineering, fabrication and testing efforts to improve BCIS producibility enhancement, and lower the Design to Unit Production Cost (DTUPC) target. The scope of the modification will include two (2) ''tasks'': Task 1 provides for the producibility and engineering efforts and the fabrication of two (2) engineering brassboard systems. Following succesful testing, Task 2 will provide for eight (8) BCIS production prove-out units, installation kits and field performance demonstration. the contractor is TRW, Inc., Space and Electronics Group, Redondo Beach, California 90278.
