Drug Abuse (NIDA) is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations
having the capability to serve as a pharmacokinetic resource in support
of the PK and PD aspect of the medications development. The contractor
shall prepare protocols, monitor studies to assure that pertinent FDA
regulations are met, compile and edit data, conduct PK, PD and
statistical analyses, and prepare reports. No actual clinical nor
laboratory studies will be carried out under this contract. The
data/report will be submitted to the FDA in support of INDs
(Investigational New Drugs) and NDAs (New Drug Applications). The SIC
code for this acquisition is 8734. The proposed contract is 100 percent
set aside for small business concerns. Offers from concerns other than
SBs will not be considered. Estimated issuance date of RFP No.
NO1DA-6-8054 is April 26, 1996 and responses are due to be received in
the Contracting Office 45 calendar days thereafter. Written requests
for copies of solicitations will be honored if received within twenty
calendar days after issuance of the solicitation. Written requests
received after this period will be filled on a first-come, first-served
basis until the supply is exhausted; however, there is no assurance
that copies requested after the twentieth day will reach the requestor
before the date for receipt of responses. The Government reserves the
right to make more than one award or no award at all in response to
this RFP. Moreover, the RFP may be amended or canceled if determined to
be in the best interest of the Government. Written requests shall be
