Correction: This contracting action was originally published in the CBD on March 12, 1996, for research and development services for National Register of Historic Places Eligibility Assessment of Ten Prehistoric Archaeological Sites at Fort Riley, Kansas. This modification is to notify all interested parties that the Government requirement has decreased from ten sites to eight sites. Solicitation number DACA88-96-R-0013 will not be issued. USACERL intends to acquire the research and development services under simplified acquisition procedures. All parties requesting copies of solicitation DACA88-96-R-0013 will be provided copies of the request for quotation DACA88-96-Q-0223 for research and development services for National Register of Historic Places Eligibility Assessment of Eight Prehistoric Archaeological Sites at Fort Riley, Kansas. Award of a fixed price purchase order is contemplated with the field work to be performed during calendar year 1996 field season. Request for Quotation (RFQ) DACA88-96-Q-0223 will be issued on or about May 2, 1996 with a closing date on or about May 17, 1996. Requests for this solicitation shall be made in writing and addressed to USACERL, Attn: Contracts Office, P.O. Box 9005, Champaign, IL 61826-9005. No telephone requests will be accepted.
