Brandel at (404) 842-6635 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contemplates awarding a contract to perform short-term assessments. These short- term assessments will typically target certain high-priority issues that are likely to influence CDC's budgetary, legislative, regulatory, and long-range planning. This proposed contract is intended to provide an ''as-needed'' contracting mechanism to facilitate the production of focused, high-priority short-term assessments in the following areas: (1) policy assessments, (2) program assessments, and (3) enhanced program assessments with laboratory capability. Prospective offerors may submit separate proposals covering any one or all of the above noted areas. Prospective offerors must be able to demonstrate significant experience with providing such services. The scheduled issue date for the RFP is approximately May 3, 1996.
