This is a notice of intent to extend contract DATM01-93-C-0005 with MEVATEC Corporation, Huntsville, Alabama, on an other than full and open competitive basis for the upcoming fiscal year of 1 October 1996 through 30 September 1997. The requirement will remain in the SBA 8(a) set-aside program. The Government will continue to require non-personal technical and management services in support of the test and evaluation mission of the Intelligence, Electronic and Warfare Test Directorate (IEWTD). The primary place of performance will remain at Fort Huachuca, AZ. The contractor is required to provide personnel to perform the following operation and maintenance (O&M) functions: IEWTD's instrumentation for the Automated Intelligence/Electronic Warfare Test System (AI/EWTS), the Vulnerability Test Facilities and equipment, the Communications Electronic Shop assets, video equipment, GPS equipment and test specific data processing equipment. In addition to the O&M, the contractor will support operational tests which vary in length and area of performance and typically require augmentee employees. These efforts include tasks to accomplish software engineering design and development, Test Documentation generation, data management and analysis, planning and test report preparation and RAM and MANPRINT support.
