Locus, Jr., Contracting Officer, (919) 541-2724 NIEHS is interested in obtaining a Contractor to construct a Waste Holding Facility including HVAC and electrical systems, walks and parking areas. The building will be constructed of precast concrete with masonry block wall interior. The structure is one floor with a gross area of approximately 6,800 square feet. Approximately 75 percent of the building is classified as hazardous: Class I, Division I. The period of performance shall be 426 calendar days following the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation is available at no cost; blueprints, if desired, must be specifically requested along with payment of a non-refundable fee of $15.00 per half set; $20.00 per full set. The fee(s) must be provided in advance by check or money order payable to DHHS/NIH. Blueprint requests, which are properly identified and include the required payment, shall be mailed via first-class U.S. mail service within two working days from receipt by NIEHS of the required fee. In the event that some type of express mail or commercial courier is desired, contact Ms. Lynn Byrd at 919-541-2724, to establish which types of services are available at this Institute. For such special arrangements, an additional charge of $15.00 shall be required, payable in advance and furnished with the routine cost for blueprints shown above. DO NOT SUBMIT CASH.
