Z -- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: REPAIR/ALTER CONSOLIDATED OPEN MESS, BUILDING 110 SOL IFB F36629-96-BA004. Due 062796. Work includes but is not limited to demolition and replacing with new: concrete/paver stairs & landings, walkways, curbs and handrails. Paint boiler room. Demolish and replace exterior doors. Demolish and replace with new accoustical and gypsum ceiling systems. Install handicapped ramps, walkways, handrails, parking spaces, curbs and landscaping. Demolish and replace boiler, controls, flue, pump, piping and power & control wiring. Demolish and replace building water service. Demolish and replace roof top units including control and power wiring. Demolish, modify and install new ductwork, terminal equipment and controls. Install new gas lines. Balance HVAC water and air systems. Demolish and replace with new building transformer, service, boiler room light fixtures and disconnect switch. Install fire suppression system including system water service and fire alarm modifications. Install new concrete curbs, exterior stair to the upper rear parking lot with light poles and wiring. Perform all work under a single lump sum firm fixed price contract. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with the contract documents. Solicitation packages will be available o/a 28 May 1996. The performance period is 90 days for Phase I (exterior work, submittal approval and equipment & material orders) and 28 April to 6 July 1997 for the balance of the work after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). This solicitation will be issued under full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered. The estimated cost ranges between $250,000 and $500,000. (106)
