Scope of work consists of but is not strictly limited to providing all labor, material, equipment and supervision as necessary to drain the existing cooling towers and sand blast the entire grid to remove the rust from beams, and weld new steel channels of the four outside existing steel beams. After completion, repaint the entire grid system with one coat of oil base primer and two coats of oil base aluminum pigment paint. The completion time for this project is eighty five (85) calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Specifications will be available on or about May 14, 1996. Sealed bids will be opened publicly on June 13, 1996, at 2:00 P.M. (local time). The proposed contract is being solicited on a total Small Business Set-Aside basis. Bids are solicited only from small business concerns. Bids received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected.
