The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Western Regional Office has a requirement for the service and maintenance of elevators. The equipment to be maintained is three (3) Traction Elevators (U.S. Elevator), with eleven stops. One (1) Hydraulic Elevator (U.S. Elevator) with 2 stops. And Two (2) Manlift Elevators (Cheney Co.) with two stops. The services are to be provided to the Metropolitan Detention, 535 N. Alameda Street, Los Angeles, California 90012. The anticipated period of this contract will be; Base Year; Date of Award through 12 months from award date; Option Period #1; 13 months from date of award through 24 months from date of award; Option Period #2; 25 months from date of award through 36 months from award date; Option Period #3; 37 months from date of award through 48 months from award date; Option Period #4; 49 months from date of award through 60 months from award date. Proposal packages will approximately be available 04/26/96, with an approximate opening date of 05/31/96.
