Repair Roof Building 416. Work includes but is not limited to making roof repairs to a Firestone EPDM wide-sheet batten system. Removal of existing EPDM strips covering the batten bars; removal of all neoprene flashing at the peri-meter of the building; building gutter areas; scupper and head areas; steel arch penetrations, and insulated panel areas. Installation of 24'' wide section of 45 MIL EPDM over the batten strips after, properly cleaning, priming and sealing in accord with manufacturer's specifications. Neoprene flashing to be re-flashed using 45 MIL EPDM extending the new flashing past the end points of the existing flashing in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with the contract documents and specifications. The solicitation package will be available o/a 2 May 1996. The performance period is 30 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). This solicitation will be issued under full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered. The estimated cost ranges between $25,000 and $100,000. (106)
