No solicitation document is available at this time; this is only a sources-sought announcement. The S-band amplifier must operate with minimum phase noise in our coherent radar system, provide approximately 8kW of peak power at a 2 % duty cycle, and provide an instantaneous bandwidth of 100MHz. The amplifier will be mounted in a jet aircraft within a pressurized cabin which maintains 8,000 ft. of pressurization. Interested firms should respond by May 9, 1996 with a written statement of capabilities. Do not provide costing information in your submittal.
