The Federal Prison Camp (FPC), Boron, CA (located on Highway 395, 6 miles north of Kramer Junction) is soliciting for health services to be provided by a qualified medical entity. The health services shall include the following: inpatient/outpatient hospital services; inpatient/outpatient physician services; and medical services at FPC Boron. Inpatient/outpatient hospital and physician services will be provided at the contractor's facility(s). Medical services to be provided at FPC Boron would include, but are not limited to, the following: optometrist, dermatologist, dietician, radiologist, psychiatrist, etc. Services will be required for a one year base period, with four-one (1) year option periods for a total sixty months from the date of award. Only medical facilities within a seventy-five (75) mile radius from FPC Boron will be utilized for inpatient/outpatient services. The government intends to make a single award to the entity which can provide all services. The estimated quantities for each 12 month period of the contract are as follows: inpatient days - 20; outpatient days - 30. There are approximately 21 speciality medical services to be provided at FPC Boron for which quantity and frequency may vary. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
