The National Emergency Training Center, U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) has a requirement to update and revise the ``Public Fire Education Resource Directory'' May 1988. Public Fire Education has increasingly become the leading focus of efforts to combat fire deaths in the United States. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), United States Fire Administration (USFA) has assumed the role in providing up-to-date fire safety publications to the fire service and the public. Since its introduction in 1988, Public Fire Education Resource Directory has proven to be one of USFA's most popular publications. The listing of resources of public education technical programs and prevention materials is widely used by the fire service and is highly regarded as the backbone of any serious public education efforts. However, although very popular in the past, this resource booklet has not been updated in several years. The period of performance of the resulting contract will be from date of award through six (6) months. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. The solicitation will be ready May 1, 1996.
