automatic battery chargers/analyzers using the research and development
streamlinedcontracting procedures outlined in DFARS 235.7000. Proposed
research should investigateinnovative approaches that lead to
revolutionary advances in the state-of-the-art for militarybattery
identification, evaluation, operator guidance/training, and
maintenance. The objective ofthis program is to impact the time
required to perform, cost, and effectively performbattery maintenance
through the timely insertion of state-of-the-art battery
chargers/analyzerswhich operate in conjunction with a database of
maintenance related information that is readilyaccessible to
