E-mail address: Hosokawa_Susan@hq.navsea.navy.mil. The Naval Sea
Systems Command intends to acquire Cooperative Engagement Capability
(CEC) Cooperative Engagement Processor (CEP) Design Agent services in
support of the CEC program. These efforts will support the decision to
proceed with Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) of Cooperative
Engagement Capability (CEC) Common Equipment Set Units. E-Systems, Inc.
of St. Petersburg, Fl is the only source with the detailed familiarity
with the design and related specifications and other requisite CEC
knowledge and experience to support the accelerated program schedule
for reaching an LRIP decision in 1997. This is a very tight schedule
required to comply with DOD direction to field CEC in the fleet as
early as possible. E-Systems is the sole developer and equipment
manufacturer of the CEC system. RFP N00024-96-R-5440 will be issued to
the current CEC development contractor, E-Systems, Inc. of St.
Petersburg, FL. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities
should contact E-Systems directly. See Numbered Note(s): 22. (0109) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0079 19960419\L-0003.SOL)
