R -- ENGINEERING/TECHICAL SUPPORT SOL N00164-96-Q-0261 DUE 042996 POC Contact point, Ms. Terry Davis, 812-854-3704; Doug McDaniel, Contracting Officer The Navy requires one lot of Engineering/Technical Support and Training of Depot/MSRA Facilities and Personnel for the SICS Project in accordance with NAVSURWARCENDIV Crane statement of work (SOW). The tasks that are included in the SOW are as follows: A. Integration of SICS Test Program Sets; B. MSRA Trouble Reports; C. Test Engineering Support of SICS Modules; D. LTX Operator and Maintenance Training; E. Teradyne Operator and Maintenance Training; F. AN/USM-465 and CROM Programmer Operator Training. The services are to be performed at NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane. The Government will provide the work area, computers, laboratory test equipment and meters, automatic test equipment with supporting software. Travel will be required from Bloomington, IN to New London, CT (1 trip) and from Bloomington, IN to Pearl Harbor, HI (2 trips). The contract period of performance is thirty three weeks. Various reports will be required as data deliverables. This procurement is being issued on a sole source basis to Artisan Electronics in Bloomington, IN due to the fact that the contractor has been involved with the design, integration and support of the SICS Test Program Sets. This requirement is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. It is anticipated that formal Request for Quotation will be issued. The Total Small Business Setaside has been removed.
