The Professional Aerospace Contractors Association of New Mexico, with
the support of the U.S. Air Force's Phillips Laboratory, will host its
Tenth Annual Briefing For Industry August 27th and 28th at the Holiday
Inn Pyramid, Albuquerque, New Mexico. During this comprehensive two-day
symposium, participating Federal, State and Local government agencies
will describe their program objectives and identify contracting
opportunities to the audience of current and prospective contractors.
Representation from several Department of Defense agencies, the
Department of Energy and the National Aeronautics and Space
Administration, are anticipated. Participating speakers will discuss
business opportunities in many areas including those of research and
development, test and evaluation, operation and maintenance, systems
procurement and facilities construction. The program will also identify
opportunities for small, small disadvantaged, and minority-owned
businesses, including Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR)
opportunities. The meeting will also feature presentations by senior
Department of Defense officials on the future trends in their
departments. Participation by members of the local and state
governments and the New Mexico congressional delegation is also
