X -- LODGING AND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES SOL 52RANW700001 DUE 053096 POC Procurement Technicians, (303) 497-3221 The National Weather Service, Operational Support Facility (OSF), Operations Training Branch, located at 3200 Marshall Avenue, Norman, Oklahoma has a requirement to provide lodging accommodations and transportation for students attending courses at the training center. The requirement will be for an indefinite quantity of rooms at various times (up to approximately forty-eight rooms at a time) and is intended to consist of a base year (Fiscal Year 1997 - estimated 6,500 room-nights) and two option years (Fiscal Years 1998 (estimated 5,500 room-nights) and 1999 (estimated 1,150 room-nights). The courses will not be given on a continuous basis and will not necessarily be of equal size or length. The maximum order quantity anticipated under the contract is 48 students per room-night. Transportation from the lodging facility to the OSF and back at the beginning and end of classes and for lunch breaks will also be part of the requirement. Provision of, or transportation to, recreational facilities are required. All students shall be lodged in single rooms and all students must be housed at the same lodging facility. The facility must be within 16 kilometers of the OSF and dining facilities must be within reasonable proximity of the lodging facility. Standard hotel/motel amenities and services are also part of the requirement (including laundry facilities and a ''common'' room). The Government anticipates a firm-fixed-price, indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery contract for the required services.
