The work of this contract consists of constructing the Mazama Dormitory which will provide housing for approximately 100 concessionaire employees at Carter Lake. The Central Building will be an approximately 27,000 square foot, two-story plus partial basement, steel and wood framed structure with dormitory rooms, lounges, apartments, an elevator, and cafeteria and kitchen. Two seasonal Dormitories contain dormitory rooms and lounges, each an approximately 9,300 square foot, steel and wood framed structure with crawl space. An approximately 4,300 square foot, concrete block and steel framed Garage provides covered parking and houses an emergency generator. Site work includes clearing and grubbing, grading, landscaping and installation of a temporary irrigation system. Site utilities include a new water reservoir, underground telephone, electrical, water and sewer, and a storm water collection and drainage system. A non-refundable bid deposit for project documents is $250 per set, 3 set maximum, in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or money order made payable to the National Park Service. Time for completion, 850 calendar days. Bid opening date is approximate; actual date will be established at the time bidding documents are available.
