The services required include operations, maintenance, alteration and/or repair of facilities. Engineering functions include electrical, water, sewage, incineration and HVAC systems; buildings and structures including family housing, grounds (improved and unimproved), surfaced areas and roadways; food service equipment; refuse collection and disposal; miscellaneous services such as appliance and fire alarm system maintenance and repair, self help, and computer aided drafting/signmaking, etc. Services which may also be required under this solicitation include a wide variety of base operations functions (omnibus) such as: freight operations, motorpool, property book support, ADP system administration, warehousing, etc. The Government anticipated award of a fixed price/indefinite quantity-indefinite delivery (ID/IQ) contract with an initial performance period of two months with five option periods. Any award made as a result of this solicitation will be based on the best value to the Government. The estimated date for release of the solicitation is 24 May 96. Only written requests from responsible sources will be considered. The number of solicitation packages is limited. Requests for packages will be honored until supplies are exhausted. Once the supply is depleted, a copy of the solicitation will be available for review, by appointment, between 0900 and 1400 at Bldg 160, Contract Operations, Vint Hill Farms Station, Warrenton, VA.
