70 -- PROVIDE PREVENTIVE AND REMEDIAL MAINTENANCE POC 1Lt Artis Clayton, Chief, Integration Maintenance Acquisition Team, 334-416-5415. The Integration Maintenance Acquisition Team is seeking information to provide preventive and remedial maintenance service for the Automatic Digital Weather Switch (ADWS) located at Tinker AFB OK, Hickam AFB HI, RAF Croughton, and the Air Force Global Weather Central (AFGWC) located at Offutt AFB NE. The information provided will be used to determine whether or not resources are available to accomplish all task in-house or if a solicitation should be issued. Equipment for ADWS consists of Unisys 1100/73 and 1100/74 mainframe computer systems arranged in dual configuration (one on-line and one off-line). Each mainframe computer system consists of the processors, peripheral-equipment, and Distributed Communications Processors (DCP). Equipment for AFGWC consists of Unisys 1100/61 C1 Processor, DCP/40 Distributed Communications Processor, 1100/61 to 1100/72 Upgrade, and 1100/73 Host Processor. This is a sources sought synopsis to determine if anyone other than Unisys can provide and maintain the required preventive and remedial maintenance on this hardware. All concerned sources having the ability to provide this service must provide information to indicate their capabilities in order to be approved as an additional source. This request does not in any way constitute and IFB or an RFP, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. A reference library is not available at HQ SSG/PK and an industry briefing is not planned. HQ SSG/PK may invite follow-up presentations or demonstrations on particularly interesting technologies.
