Education requires a continuation of the series of longitudianal daga
collection efforts started in 1996 with the National Postsecondary
Student Study to enhance knowledge concerning progress and persistence
in postsecondary education for new entrants. It will address issues
such as progress, persistence and completion of postsecondary educaton
programs, entry into the work force, the relationship between
experiences during postsecondary and societal and personal outcomes,
and returns to the individual and to society on the investment in a
postsecondary education. This broad range of information will provide
a level of detail not elsewhere available on a national scale
concerning the postsecondary education process and its relationship to
later employment and other life experiences. The anticipated issue
date is 5/7/96 and the closing date is 6/6/96. All requests shall
reference the number and title of the RFP (RFP 96-020 ''Beginning
Postsecondary Students''). Request for solicitation may be made by
