notification is being circulated in accordance with Article 10.6.

applicable): Swedish commercial vessels less than 15 metres, but more
than 5.5 metres in length. 5. Title, number of pages and language(s) of
the notified document: The Maritime Administrations Notice with
Regulations Concerning Building Requirements for Commercial Vessels
Less than 15 Metres in Length. 6. Description of content: The Nordic
Boat Standard for Commercial Boats (NBS-Y), has been developed in
cooperation between the Maritime Safety Administrations in Denmark,
Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Det Norske Veritas. The Standard
contains requirements concerning buoyancy, stability, rudder, fire
protection, scantling, machinery, accommodation, equipment and
construction with supplementary provisions regarding the material of
the hull and type of trade. A system for inspection and certification
is also outlined. 7. Objective and rationale: The aim of this notice is
to fill the need of regulating the building of small commercial vessels
in a harmonized way in the Nordic countries. 8. Relevant documents:
Nordic Boat Standard for Commercial Boats (NBS-Y). 9. Proposed date of
adoption: As soon as possible. Proposed date of entry into force: 10.
