Provide support services to the NASA-Lewis Research Center for
logistics, imaging technology, scientific and technical information,
travel services, grounds maintenance and custodial, administrative
support, and Lewis clerical support services. Logistics includes
equipment services, freight traffic, metrology services, supply
management and transportation operations. Imaging technology includes
production support, scientific imaging, video production, multimedia,
digital imaging, still imaging, photofinishing, and audio visual.
Scientific and technical information includes library services and
scientific and technical publishing services, including duplicating.
Travel services include cost estimating and pricing, reservations,
international travel, travel itineraries, conference and seminars, and
passenger charter. Grounds maintenance and custodial includes grounds
maintenance, and routine, emergency, and as-requested custodial
services. Administrative support includes information system support,
information resources support, drawing file management, learning center
operations, community and media relations editorial support, financial
management support, resource analysis, management support, and legal
assistance. Clerical services include general clerical support
including work processing services, computer applications, office
organization, and record-keeping services. Contract duration shall be
for a period of one year with four, one-year option periods, for a
total contract duration of five years. Requests for the solicitation
will be accepted via datafax at (216) 433-5185. Also, the solicitation
will be made available to interested parties through the Internet. The
date set for receipt of proposals is approximate. This procurement is
being conducted on the basis of competition limited to eligible 8(a)
firms. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be
considered. An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from
offerors, potential offerors, and contractors during the preaward and
postaward phases of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is
not to diminish the authority of the contracting officer, the Source
Evaluation Board, or the selection official, but to communicate
concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations of interested
parties to the appropriate Government personnel and to work to resolve
them. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict
confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The ombudsman does not
participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection
process, or the adjudication of formal contract disputes. Interested

which cannot be resolved at the installation may be referred to the
