Government intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Hunter Engineering Company, 31125 Via Norte, Temecula, Ca. 92591, to furnish and install a Hunter truck brake tester with brake plates and weight scales, P/N 404T-01, truck brake tester crt cabinet with B400T software, mobil cart, printer, pedestal/junction box, P/N B400T-M, 1/2 MEG upgrade for K-11MT, P/N 20-28-1 and stoplight signal kit, P/N 20-967-1. This brake tester is to be used with an existing K-111MT truck wheel alignment system which was also procured from Hunter Engineering. It is the Government's belief that the supplies required are available only from one source. No other type of supplies will satify the Agency requirements. Request for quotation M00681-96-Q-3735 available on 2 May 1996 and tentative closing date of 17 May 1996. Firms that recognize and can furnish the required items are encourged to identify themselves, providimg supporting documentation to the Contracting Officer within fifteen days from the date of this publication. Please indicate business size when responding. The Small Business size standard for this procurement is a concern including all affiliates 100 employees. If no affirmative written responses are received to the effect that parts are available from another source at a lower cost an order will be placed with Hunter Engineering Company without future notice.
