The Department of Defense, Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division, (NAVEODTECHDIV) is contemplating the acquisition of commerically available off the shelf digital diver time/depth gages for underwater operations. The device shall be water immersion activated. As a minimum, the display should include current and maximum dive depth in feet in a range of 0-300 feet and dive time in minutes in a range of 0-99 minutes. This announcement does not guarantee that the government will issue an RFP for this item. Potential offerors should submit technical data (brochures, literature, specifications, etc.) sufficient to enable government evaluation of the product offered. A sample device may be requested at a later time for further evaluation. All information provided to the government related to this announcement shall be considered government property.
