Under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), Far 6.302-1, The National Cancer Institute (NCI) itends to enter into a purchase order with Smithsonian Institution. The purpose of this acquisition is to give continued support for the Registry of Tumors in the Lower Animals (RTLA). Smithsonian Institution will establish and maintain surveillance of neoplasms in coldblooded vertebrate and invertebrate animals through the collection and analysis of specimens. This study is dependent on information gathered over a period of 30 years and stored in a tumor registry. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, if an interested party believes they can meet the above specifications, they may submit a statement of capabilities. Information furnished shall include enough material, in sufficient detail to perform a proper evaluation of their ability to perform. Closing is 20 days after publication of this notice.
