D -- CREATION OF DIGITIZED DATA SOL RFIDMA0001 DUE 050396 POC Mr. Greg Brouk or Ms. Antoinette Hamel This Request For Information (RFI) is to determine the level of interest in the creation of digitized data to be used for the production of Compressed Arc Digitized Raster Graphics (CADRG). CADRG is a general purpose product combining computer-readable digital map and chart images. It supports various weapons, C3I theater battle management, mission planning, and digital moving map systems. Production capabilities must include the ability to load, transform and compress Arc Digitized Raster Graphic CD-ROMs of maps and charts into the format described in Military Specification MIL-C-89038. In addition to the operations mentioned above, interested parties would be responsible for providing the jewel case liners and information booklets for each CADRG dataset. Jewel case liners and information booklets must conform to Defense Mapping Agency Technical Instructions and Quality Requirements for Printing and Finishing of Jewel Case Liners and Information Booklets (Inserts) for Mapping, Charting, and Geodetic (MC&G) Compact Disc Storage Media, DMA TI/2DJ/001.
