CASS Medical Transcription Services. Services to transcribe various medical summaries and medical reports. Successful contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, and supplies to provide medical transcription services to the Naval Hospital, Twentynine Palms, CA 92278. Successful contractor to transcribe from voice recordings onto specified forms or paper in correct format. Annual estimate of the number of lines to be transcribed is 350,000. Anticipate delivery of transcribed documents through a modem link to the Composite Healthcare System(CHCS). The Government will provide training on the operation of the CHCS terminals. Anticipate services to be performed at contractor site. Contract performance expected to begin on or about 01 August 1996. Anticipate one year base contract period, with three, one year option periods. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 22.1009-4, (1) The place of performance is unknown. (2) The contracting officer has requested wage determinations for the following possible places of performance: Twentynine Palms, CA. (3) The contracting officer will request additional wage determinations for additional possible places of performance if requested to do so in writing.
