(210) 536-4469. This is a request for information, this is NOT a notice
of solicitation. In support of the Air Force Modernization Planning
Process (AFMPP), Human Systems Center's Plans and Engineering
Directorate (HSC/XR) is in the process of brainstorming ideas for
potential solution concepts to currently indentified and forecasted Air
Force Mission area and mission support area operational deficiencies.
This is a Human Systems Center (HSC) led project with relevance to
numerous mission areas and mission support areas. Consequently, replies
to this concept call could have widespread applications. As a potential
submitter, you should be aware that several mission and functional
areas supported by HSC coordinate directly with or are already
integrated with Air Force Material Command's Aeronautical Systems
Center (ASC), Space and Missile Center (SMC), and Electronics Systems
Center (ESC). Deficiencies have been identified by HSC Technical
Planning Integrated Product Teams (TPIPTs) in the following mission and
mission support areas: Environmental Compliance, Environmental
Conservation/Stewardship, Occupational Health, Pollution Prevention,
Site Remediation (Cleanup), Crew Systems, Life Support, Logistics and
Maintenance, Accessions, Medical Support to Employed Forces, Managed
Health Care System, Disease Prevention, Health and Fitness Promotion,
Promote a Safe and Healthful Environment, Sensitive Direct Health Care
Delivery, Education, Technical Training, and Space Training. This
Synopsis is for information only, HSC/XR plans to use this Request for
Information to involve industry in providing potential solution
concepts. This is not a request for proposal, and in no way commits the
Government to an award of contract. Reimbursement of any cost regarding
the preparation if information, proposals or bids will not be made. All
information and data submitted to the Government must be nonproprietary
and will not be treated by the Government as confidential information.

(a) deficiencies by mission/mission support area and (b) the process
for solution concept submission. To request a data package containing

information, requestors must provide: (a) requestor full name and
title, (b) commercial/DSN phone number, (c) e-mail address, (d)
organization/company name, and (e) CAGE code. Industry's solution
concepts should be received by HSC/XRI by 28 May 96 in order to be
considered in this year's annual cycle of the AFMPP. All technical
