Y -- FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION OF A 45KW ENGINE GENERATOR POWER PLANT AT HOUSTON INTERCONTINENTAL AIRPORT, HOUSTON, TEXAS SOL DTFA07-96-R-00044 DUE 062796 POC Contact Ms.Ila Patel, Acquisition Management Branch, (817) 222-4342 The contractor will provide labor, transportation, equipment, materials, and other facilities required to Fabricate and install a 45KW engine generator (E/G) power plant at the Intercontinental Airport/ASDE-3, Houston, Texas. The scope of the work includes furnishing and testing a power plant enclosure complete with a 45KW propane engine generator and the associated electrical and mechanical power plant components. Transporting the 45KW power plant to the ASDE-3 facility. Installation and testing of the 45KW power plant at the site location. Provide all electrical conduit/wiring for the interconnection of the power plant with the existing facility and utility power. Provide mechanical installation, testing and interconnections of the propane gas converter, the engine fuel supply line, water supply and return lines. Provide a concrete walkway and door step for the E/G power plant, and removal of the old electrical components. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The proposed procurement is unrestricted regarding business size. The BOD is an approximate date only. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 1629. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
