There is known hazardous material in this project. The existing lines are insulated with asbestos. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business; SIC Code is 1629; Size Standard is $17 million. Contractor is required to have been in the sprinkler installation business for a minimum of three years and will be requested to provide documentation showing that they have installed the same or a similar system within the past three years. References will be required for same. The contract resulting from this acquisition will be awarded to that responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors. The price is estimated to be under $100,000.00. It is intended to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract.
