20 -- REPAIR OF PROPELLERS AND PROPELLER BLADES SOL DTCG40-96-R-20031 DUE 062496 POC Contact Kathy Fields, Contract Specialist, (410) 636-4299; Sandra McKay, Contracting Officer, (410) 636-4286 The Coast Guard has a requirement to repair the following Propellers and Propeller Blades in accordance with Coast Guard specifications: 65' Bronze Propellers, 75' Bronze Propellers, 110' Bronze Propellers, 133' Bronze Propellers, 140' Bronze Propellers, 157' Stainless Steel Propeller Blades, 160' Bronze Propellers, 180' Bronze and Stainless Steel Propellers, 210' Bronze Propeller Blades, 270' Bronze Propeller Blades, and 378' Bronze Propeller Blades. The resulting contract is to be a requirements type contract with a base year and four option years. Welding repairs of propellers shall meet the requirements of DOD-STD-2185(SH). Contractor must have an Inspection System in accordance with MIL-I-45208A. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Supply Center Curtis Bay, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-1792. Delivery shall be made 30 days after Coast Guard approval of required repairs on each Delivery Order. See Numbered Notes 12 and 26.
