The U.S. Army Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM) intends to negotiate as a sole source action, a modification to contract N61339-93-C-0004 with Loral Federal Systems Company for the development of the Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT), for the addition of a line item for Technical Services for Lot V-A to be procured as needed by issuance of Time and Material Work Orders. The technical services will consist of engineering support necessary for the integration, installation and enhancement to the CCTT systems under the current CCTT contract. This support is envisioned to include the engineering support to integrate CCTT simulators with existing training systems, hardware/software changes to accommodate unique features in the various systems, and management and production support to accomplish these tasks. Additional support that may be required includes test support, and operations and maintenance support. It is a sole source action per FAR 6.302-1. A solicitation is not available. (0114)
