Natick RD&E Center is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to identify commercial
state-of-the-art waterproof, insulated boots suitable for military use
in extreme cold weather conditions (minus 60 degrees F to plus 10
degrees F). The boot will have a leather, rubber, fabric, or
combination upper, a slip resistant outsole, weigh less than 5.0 pounds
per pair, and be approximately 10 to 12 inches in height. It should
resist mold and fungus and be resistant to petroleum, oil, and
lubrication products. The boot should come in a size range of 5 to 15
in whole sizes, removable liner desirable. More than one width is
desirable but is not required. This information is for information and
