91 -- HEATING-GRADE KEROSENE FOR ARMENIA AND MAZOUT HEAVY FUEL OIL FOR GEORGIA SOL DHR-96-001 POC Elaine Smialek, 703/875-1138, esmialek@usaid.gov. The U.S. Agency for International Development requires a contractor to provide and transport up to 20,000 Metric Tons (MT) of heating-grade kerosene (K-1) to Masis, Giumri, and Spitak, Armenia and up to 60,000 MT of mazout heavy fuel oil (M40 or M100) to Gardebani, Georgia. It is anticipated that first shipments will arrive by September 15, 1996, with all shipments complete by November 15, 1996. Authorized Source and Origin for this procurement is USAID Geographic Code 935. This procurement may result in a split award, ie, one commodity and freight contract for kerosene, and one commodity and freight contract for mazout heavy fuel oil, if this arrangement is determined to be in the best interest of the Government.
