Robins Air Force Base is in the process of identifying vendors of Post Processors which translate LASAR output files into software that drives a commercial off the shelf VXI digital test system. The post processor is intended to be used to process testing data generated by LASAR version 6.5 from Teradyne. The result of the processing should be a set of files compatible with a VXI digital test system. The particular VXI digital test system has not been identified yet. The choice of VXI equipment will depend on available LASAR post processors. The digital test system will be controllable over a GPIB bus in a PC Microsoft Windows environment and will be capable of pattern rates in the 10 MHz range. Two systems with specifications that meet our needs but presently do not have LASAR capability are: the Racal Instruments 6400 series and the Interface Technology SR2500. However, we are not at all limited to using only these products. Respondents are invited to identify a post processor solution that has already been developed, preferably PC based with a Windows operating system, that will meet these requirements. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the bais of this solicitation or otherwise pay for the information provided.
