Government agency is requesting technical information regarding emerging technologies which can be applied to solving physical security concerns. The Government may provide development funding for the most promising technologies. Emerging technologies include the application of existing principles which are now not currently used in security systems which, with additional research or developmental funds, can be developed into unique products. Areas include innovative security systems architecture, sensors, biometrics, alarm systems, micro technologies, video surveillance, video target detection analysis, computer controlled communications systems, secure containers, IR imagers/cameras, locks, room tamper indicators, access control, new badging concepts, etc. This agency is interested in all innovative security technologies which are in the concept or broadboard stages today that will require several years of development in order to produce a reliable, proven product. It is envisioned that the development and deployment would be completed by the year 2000. This synopsis is not a solicitation notice nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government.
