Green, Contracting Officer, (334) 953-6461 Provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform grounds maintenance at Maxwell AFB and Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex AL as defined in the performance work statement (PWS) (i.e., grass cutting, tree trimming, policing, pruning, weed control, etc.) Except as specified in section C-3 as Government furnished property and services. This requirement includes the following function: A Contract Manager for Maxwell AFB and one for MAFB-Gunter Annex, AL. Contractor must have a current and valid Alabama pesticide applicator's license for application of any type of pesticides, fungicides, and nematicies product before beginning work. The contractor shall be Alabama licensed and insured, and have professional recognition as a tree trimming company. The contract shall provide references of experience in pruning, fertilizing, cabling and tree removal prior to contract award. Technically acceptable, lowest price will be used as the evaluation method. Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror. Criteria for evaluation will include qualification of Contract Manager, alternate Horticulturist and Compost Manager; annual ground maintenance plan; equipment plan; employee training; and quality control plan. All interested parties may be requested to perform capability briefing. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 0782. The size standard is $5.0 million. This is a contracting out study in accordance with OMB circular A-76. This contract is for a basic year and four one-year options. This requirement is set-aside for small business.
