Ward, (801) 524-5248, Contracting Officer The principal features of the work include: excavating waste materials from Cropsy Waste Pile, excavating Cropsy Drain, recontouring the Heap Leach Pad, furnishing and constructing double layered Geosynthetic Clay Liner Cap with drainage layer over Heap Leach Pad, excavating and backfilling outfall trench, stabilizing and moving sludge from perimeter of Heap Leach Pad, processing and stockpiling rockfill materials from Cropsy Drain excavation, placing bedding and riprap in drainage ditches, furnishing and placing lime amendment, furnishing and installing perforated, high-density polyethylene corrugated drainage pipe embedded in a gravel envelope, furnishing and installing nonperforated high-density polyethylene corrugated drainage pipe, and removal of structures and other miscellaneous features. Summitville Mine Superfund Site is located approximately 25 miles southwest of Del Norte, Colorado. A preproposal site visit will be conducted on May 21, 1996.
