The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation and quality control necessary to provide maintenance and repair services for miscellaneous repairs and alterations to various facilities and buildings throughout Naval Weapons Station Earle. General range of work includes residential, commercial and heavy industrial. The work includes, but is not limited to, interior and exterior painting, electrical, structural, plumbing and pipefitting, glazing, sheetmetal, insulation, concrete/cement, bricklaying, roofing, electrical, potable water and sewage distribution systems and incidental related work. The project is being issued as unrestricted - open to large and small business concerns. The Standard Industrail Classification Code for this procurement is 1541. The resultant contract will be an indefinite quantity type contract. All work shall be completed in strict accordance with the specifications. IFB's will be issued on/about 15 May 1996. Performance period will be one year commencing 15 days after notice of award. There will be two (2) twelve month option periods which may be exercised by the Government.
